KENILWORTH, NJ - The 2020 Easter Bunny Hop that was put on by the Kenilworth Fire Department and Rescue Squad was a great success. Members of the community came out with supportive signs to not only wave to the Easter Bunny but also to thank the men and women of the department for all their hard work and service. Children were delighted to see the Easter Bunny come down their street and even though times are tough and stressful, the Easter Bunny Hop put a smile on everyone's face.

Shawn Kelly KFD Public Relations Officer was very gracious and thrilled with the event. "Thank you Kenilworth for allowing us to have the Easter Bunny visit your children. Their smiles and joy were priceless. We all needed a little morale boost and this was the perfect remedy. We collated your photos and forwarded them over to the local hospitals to let the doctors, nurses, and staff know they are not alone, and that we truly appreciate all the incredibly hard work they are doing. Thank you again. Please hang in there and enjoy your family and holiday. Stay safe. We will be standing by."
