KENILWORTH, NJ - Please see the latest announcement from Pastor Nova Villa Vitug-Thomas.

As you are well aware, the coronavirus is spreading rapidly and dangerously and has entered our area.  It is imperative that we all do our part to arrest its spread now so it does not overwhelm our health care resources. The Key is Social Distancing.

As a result, all church activities and events are postponed or adjusted starting March 15 until further notice:

We recognize in this time of uncertainty some may not feel comfortable traveling and worshipping at our church.  Please stay home.

We will have our Sunday worship service available livestream via Facebook Live for those at home at 10:30am. Facebook page: Ignite UMC Kenilworth

As time goes on, it could become prudent for us to worship only online.

We will look for other means how we can best spread God's word faster than the spread of the virus.

In all of this, God is with us. He is and remains Emanuel. Our ever-present help in times of trouble. Today as yesterday, the world is still in God’s hands. Nothing has changed. Whatever the next chapter of this coronavirus story might be, the same questions remain to us: Will we trust God? Will we love our neighbors? And finally, how shall, we then live?

Please stay healthy and safe.

God is with us. Be strong, be kind, and be loving!

Take every opportunity to be an instrument of God's blessing, love and salvation.
