KENILWORTH, NJ – The Senior Class of 2020 set a new record at the anticipated Powder Puff Tournament Monday, November 25. Not only did the seniors beat the juniors, but they became the first class to complete all four years of Powder Puff undefeated. The team also broke a personal scoring record by raking up 56 points.

“Monday’s game is one for the books” senior Evelyn Wetzel beamed. “With me being one of our quarterbacks, I knew that Sofia Lospinoso was going to pull through during our plays which she did no matter what side of the ball we were on. She scored her personal record of five touchdowns!”  The team was thrilled with the outcome. “We were all so full of adrenaline and we went in with a winning attitude. The game was rough. There was some tension and some fighting but it all comes with the competition.” At the earlier game the sophomores beat the freshman.

With over 300 people in attendance the freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors all played in a very exciting and competitive match. Powder Puff coaches for all teams included Peter Siragussa, Johnathan Braun, Joseph Gasper, and Antonino Principato.
