KENILWORTH, NJ – The Bears Varsity Football Team dominated last week’s game leading the score 34-6. Highlights include quarterback Danny Ramos scoring three rushing touchdowns and running back Quinn Lonergan and halfback Derek Graichen scored a touchdown each with 12 and 11 carries. The Bears now stand 7-1 in the Union Division standings going strong.

Team members had positive and constructive thoughts to say about the game and what they plan on doing to prepare for the next. Graichen stated, “I felt pretty good about the game we executed and what coach taught us in practice, and it showed on Friday night. For our next game we are going to need to double our focus and listen to what our coaches want us to do and be able to trust each other on the field. Lonergan affirmed, “For the next game we’re preparing it just like any other. We know what’s on the line and who better to play against then the team who took it from us last year.” Ramos was thrilled with another huge win. “All week we said how important the game was to us and we brought that energy. Now we play New Providence. We played them last year in the same game at their field and fell short on a last play of the game touchdown. We haven’t forgot that one bit. But like always we will prepare the same and stay on our game plan. It doesn’t get better than this.”

The Bears look to finish 8-1 with a conference championship as they take on New Providence at the Homecoming Game Friday, November 1, at 7:00 p.m.
