Lafayette, NJ – Unity of Sussex County is pleased to announce a series of three Watercolor Workshops with well-known, Sussex County Professional Artist, Wendy Stamer. The workshops will be held on Saturdays, January 19, February 2 and February 16, 2013, from noon to 4pm. The charge is $40 per workshop; participants may attend one, two or all three sessions. Wendy Stamer, a lifelong resident of Sparta, is best known for her portrayal of local scenes; especially Sussex county barns. She is proficient in both watercolors and oils. She was recently the first artist to be featured in Unity Church’s Artist Series in the entry lobby of the church. The artist says, “Painting landscapes, wildlife and flowers gives me the opportunity to do what I like best – observe and commune with Nature.” Wendy exhibits regularly at the State Fair, with the Art Association in Roxbury, at the Millside Café in Lafayette and at the Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council Gallery.
