LINDEN, NJ - According to alerts by the Breaking News Network, the Linden Police Department and the Union County Bomb Squad were on the scene of two locations Thursday morning after reports of suspicious packages.

According to initial reports, Linden Police were called to the Linden Train Station to investigate a package that was found at approximately 10:00 a.m.

While investigating the first incident, a second package was found at a home located at 200 block of 1st Avenue a little after 10:15 a.m.

It was unknown if the two incidents were related but both packages were cleared by the bomb squad and identified as negative.  There were no injuries reported from either incident.
