LINDEN, NJ - It’s time to fall back as Daylight Saving Time comes to an end, and we'd like to remind our readers to turn their clocks back one hour at 2 a.m., Sunday morning.
Daylight saving time starts on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November.
While most people look forward to the extra hour of sleep this weekend, the end of Daylight Saving time brings an earlier dusk. From now until the Winter Solstice on December 21, the amount of daylight hours will decrease slightly each day.
This is TAP's friendly reminder to make sure you set your clocks back one hour- at least before Monday morning.
Also, be sure to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and if they are more than 10 years old, replace them.
