Freeholder Christopher Hudak Will Be Sworn In January 7th Union County Ceremony

LINDEN, NJ - Union County will host it's 162nd Annual Reorganization event on Sunday, Jan. 7 at 12:00 p.m. in Union County Courthouse, 2 Broad Street, Elizabeth.

Christopher Hudak of Linden will be sworn in as Union County Freeholder along with Angel Estrada of Elizabeth. Hudak is being re-elected to his third term after being appointed to the Freeholder Board to an unexpired term in December 2010.

Newcomer, Angela Garretson former Mayor of Hillside, is scheduled to be sworn as Freeholder. Garretson is replacing Freeholder Vernell Wright of Union following her retirement after joining the Freeholder Board in 2012.  

Following the swearing-in the Freeholder Board will select a new Chairperson and Vice Chairperson.  Freeholders will vote to fill numerous positions on county advisory boards and to adopt the Board's 2018 schedule and more.
