NEAR BY NEWS - Put on your dancing shoes and join us at the Clark Public Library for the kick-off of our annual Summer Reading Program! The Dance Party will take place at the Clark Library, Monday, June 25, 2018 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm with SuperSounds DJs playing your favorite songs. Kids can register for the summer reading challenge, get their face painted or a temporary tattoo, and make a craft. We will also have raffles for prizes throughout the event! The reading challenge offers small prizes based on how much your read, as well as raffle tickets for bigger prizes. Come to the library to check out our display case filled with the various prizes you can enter to win. Fun events are planned all summer long for all ages including The Science of Sound, Fossil Dig with Pearl Observatory, Yoga Storytime, Martial Arts Performance Demonstration, Bubble Show with Currier's Magical Mania, Touch the Music, Music with JP Arthur, Karaoke, art programs, family movies on Fridays and more! Pick up a calendar at the event! Some of the events even earn you an extra raffle ticket just for coming! Here's to a summer of fun times and fun books!
