Linden Summer Concert Series Opening Night Set for June 12


LINDEN, NJ - The City of Linden has announced the dates and performers for the 2018 Summer Concert Series, which is set to begin on Tuesday, June 12.

Concert performances are located at the Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade located at 400 North Wood Avenue at 7:30 p.m.

In addition to the concerts, there will be comedians on stage every Thursday evening at 8:00 p.m from June 14 to August 18.

Seating for performances are first-come, first-serve.  Additional seating is available for lawn chairs as space permits.

Non-perishable food donations will be accepted for the L.I.N.C.S. Food Pantry at the concert dates.

Union County Residents Can “Recycle Right” without Plastic Bags

UNION COUNTY, NJ - The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders reminds residents that plastic bags and other excluded items cannot be recycled through their local curbside pick-up programs.

“Union County residents have a good recycling rate compared to other counties in our state, and we want to improve on this record and set a high bar,” said Freeholder Chairman Sergio Granados.
