LINDEN, NJ - As an effort to celebrate Halloween but do it as safely as possible, the City of Linden is giving treat bags to students in town.

The giveaway is specifically for Linden youth grades pre-k through grade 12.  It is first come, first serve for the first 250 students.

The event will be held on Friday, October 30 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. outside in front of the Linden Multi Purpose Center located at 1025 John Street.

Social distancing and safety guidelines must be adhered to in order to attend the event.

Here are the guidelines for the event:

  • Must wear face mask and maintain 6’ social distance
  • No stopping, standing or gathering near building
  • Also, children must be present to receive a treat bag

Pre-Registration for this event is required by calling 908-474-8600 or online at Community Pass.
