TRENTON, NJ – Assemblywoman Annette Quijano (D-Union) issued the following statement on Friday calling on Gov. Murphy to work with the Legislature to resolve the budget stalemate:

“I sincerely applaud all of legislative leadership for working toward a compromise with the governor.  After months of exhaustive work by our budget committee, we put forward a balanced budget. With today’s compromise offer of a millionaire’s tax, the Assembly took a strong step forward to resolve the current divide. It is my hope that the governor will work with the legislature to accept this offer.”
