Daniyel Brackett, also a senior at Linden High school, received an honorable mention and $100 prize for the artwork she submitted.

This year's theme of the contest is “Solidarity in the Middle of a Pandemic.” Students were asked to send in submissions examining how a tragic pandemic can bring the best out of people.

Both recipients will be honored at a virtual award ceremony on January 28.
