Winter Storm Warning Issued for Linden and All of Union County

LINDEN, NJ -  A winter storm warning has been issued for all of Union County from 10:00 p.m. tonight through 4:00 a.m. Thursday.  

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), heavy snow is expected with possible accumulations of 6 to 12 inches. Travel may become very difficult to impossible, including during the evening commute on Wednesday.

Linden Police Department has issued a reminder to residents that "vehicles must be removed from the following emergency snow routes":

This warning means severe winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
