The Housing Authority of the City of Orange is hosting the Housing Quality Inspection Seminar, geared toward Section 8 housing inspectors, preventative maintenance inspectors, new and seasoned inspectors, housing managers, tenant interviewers and housing executives. The seminar will teach these professionalsto develop or fine-tune related work skills, review procedures and forms affecting standards, and learn how to evaluate their current operations to identify strengths and challenges.
The Housing Quality Inspection Seminar will take place from April 8 to April 10, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Walter G. Alexander 97 Wilson Place Orange, New Jersey 07050.
Upon completion of the course requirements, the participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and earn 1.75 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Certification Exam Candidates who successfully pass the exam will receive a certification. The cost to participate is $629.00 for the Housing Quality Standards Seminar with Certification Examination and an electronic copy of training materials, $704.00 to attend Housing Quality Standards Seminar with Certification Exam/electronic and hard copy of training materials, and $150.00 for the examination only.
The exam is scheduled for Friday April 10, 2019, and individuals must arrive at 8:00 a.m. Light breakfast and lunch is included daily for the cost per person. This seminar is open to all housing officials in the State of New Jersey.
