Changes Coming for Landlines in 856 and 908 Area Codes

TRENTON, NJ - Starting on October 24, New Jersey landlines within the 856 and 908 area codes must dial 10 or 11 digits for all their calls.  After October 24, local landline calls dialed with only seven digits may not go through, and the caller will receive a recording saying their call cannot be completed as dialed.
