LINDEN, NJ - Linden Department of Parks and Recreation is offering two sewing classes for ages 8-12.
Learn to Sew Sampler: Participants ages 8-12 come join the fun at Linden Recreation and learn to sew a Fabulous fun Tote Bag! NO experience necessary! All fabrics provided and sewing machines are available for use. What could be better! The class will be held Saturday, January 25, from 9:30-11:300 a.m. at the Linden Multi-Purpose Center, 1025 John St. The fee is FREE. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
Learn to Sew: Participants ages 8-12 learn how to sew using a commercial sewing pattern. Participants begin by sewing a pair of pajama bottoms and a patch pillow. All materials are included in the fee. Students use full size sewing machines. The class will be held Tuesdays, February 4-March 10, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at the John T. Gregorio Center, 330 Helen St. The fee is $75 for six week class.
