LINDEN, NJ - The Linden Halloween Parade Committee in conjunction with the Linden Parks and Recreation Department and the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders are hosting the annual Halloween parade through downtown Linden on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2:00 p.m.
The event was originally scheduled for October 27 but was rescheduled due to inclement weather.
There will be honored guests, marching bands, children and adults in costume, dance groups and a very special scheduled appearance from Mrs. Claus & Santa Claus himself!
According to Linden Police, Wood Ave will be closed from Route 1 to Linden Ave beginning at 11:30 a.m. The closure will extend to Curtis St beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Drivers will be able to cross Wood Ave using Elizabeth and Linden Aves, however, drivers should expect extended delays as the parade begins.
No parking restrictions will be in place on Wood Ave between Gibbons St & Route 1.
It is advised that everyone adhere to restrictions. All vehicles in violation will be towed at the owners expense.
