LINDEN, NJ - In a video released by Mayor Derek Armstead, Linden has its first confirmed case of COVID-19 virus.

Armstead is asking the public to only reach out to Health Office for regarding this matter.
“Residents don't need to panic,” said Armstead. “Any information needed or resident concerns should be addressed to directly to the board of health. All messaging regarding this matter will come from the Mayor's office.”
Governor Phil Murphy confirmed this afternoon that there are 31 new confirmed cases of the virus since yesterday. This brings the statewide total to 98.
