LINDEN, NJ - According to Mayor Derek Armstead, there is still only one confirmed case of the COVID-19 virus in Linden.

Starting March 18, Linden City Hall will be closed to the public but if there is a need to contact an office, please call the Mayor's office directly at 908-474-8493.

The Linden Municipal Court is closed but can be reached by calling 908-474-8423.

The Linden Welfare Office at 605 S. Wood Avenue is no longer opened to the public but you can contact a Social Worker by calling 908-474-8620.



The Linden Public Library, Linden Multi-Purpose Center, and Linden PAL are all closed.

The John T. Gregorio Recreation Center will only be open on Tuesday to the Seniors who receive Meals on Wheels and then it will be closed to the public.  Future Meals on Wheels will be provided by home delivery service.

Restaurants, bars, theaters and gyms in the city will be closed at 8:00 p.m. and will remain closed until further notice.
