What is a Good Tenant? Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless Hosts Tenant Workshop

ELIZABETH, NJ -The Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless is hosting a free Tenant Certification Training on April 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at their center located at 118 Division Street in Elizabeth.  

The workshop benefits participants by empowering them with knowledge and tools to become good tenants. Speakers will lead sessions on topics such as tenant’s rights, budgeting, how to find an apartment, how to interview with a landlord, advocating for yourself, and additional community services.

Participants will be awarded certificates upon completion of the workshop. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. The workshop is open to the general public and interested participants should R.S.V.P. by calling 908-355-2060 ext. 205, or by emailing anunez@theelizabethcoalition.org.
