Suspect Arrested for Carjacking of Taxi in Linden

LINDEN, NJ - A Flemington man is under arrest following an alleged carjacking that occurred on Route 1 on Monday in Linden, according to Linden Police.

The incident began on Monday, May 16, 2022, when Manuel Martinho, 51, of Flemington and an unidentified accomplice hired a taxi to take them from Elizabeth to the Linden Home Depot, 701 W. Edgar Rd.

LINDEN, NJ - Linden Police are investigating a bank robbery that took place in the city, Wednesday morning.

According to an alert from the Breaking News Network, police responded to the Northfield Bank at 501 N Wood Avenue around 9:10 a.m.
