Downed Traffic Signal Slows Down Intersection in Linden

LINDEN, NJ - Linden Police have issued an advisory to avoid the intersection of S Wood Ave and Route 1 due to a Downed traffic signal.

Drivers approaching the highway will only be able to make right turns; Northbound traffic must head toward Elizabeth and southbound traffic must head tour to Rahway.

The delay is expected to last for several hours through the evening rush hour until repairs can be made.

Drivers are encouraged to use S Park Ave or S Stiles Street as alternate routes.
