LINDEN, NJ - According to Linden Police Department, at 9:10 a.m. a Linden Fire Department Engine was exiting the NJ Turnpike to the Wood Ave Emergency Access Rd when it was struck by a tractor trailer traveling south on the NJ Turnpike.

One fireman was extricated from the engine. Each of the three firemen on board were transported to Newark University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The truck driver was not injured.

The crash is being investigated by the New Jersey State Police.
