Gas Prices in New Jersey Top $5 a Gallon for First Time

NEW JERSEY — For the first time ever, the average price of a gallon of unleaded gas in New Jersey is over $5. AAA says drivers are paying $5.01 on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. That's up 3 cents from yesterday and nearly $2 from this time last year.

AAA says the rising cost of oil and high demand for gas is keeping the prices at the pump high.
