Area Chambers of Commerce and League of Women Voters of Montclair Area to Hold Annual 'Meet the Mayors' Government Breakfast on March 24

Four local Chambers of Commerce, including Cedar Grove, Livingston, Millburn-Short Hills and the North Essex regional Chamber are joining the League of Women Voters of the Montclair area as hosts of the annual “Meet the Mayors” Breakfast on Saturday, March 24th from 9:00am to 11:00 a.m. at Crane’s Mill, 459 Passaic Avenue in West Caldwell. The snow date is March 31st.

Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. will present the opening remarks followed by speakers Joseph Martin, Verona Town Manager and Tom Tucci, the manager from Cedar Grove. Topics to be discussed will include consolidation of municipalities and municipal services, the status of COAH requirements, and the prospect of real property tax relief.
Mayors from the following communities will participate in topic discussions: Montclair,Verona, Cedar Grove, Essex Fells, Roseland, Fairfield, Caldwell, West Caldwell, North Caldwell, Nutley, Bloomfield, Clifton, Little Falls, Glen Ridge, West Orange, Livingston and Millburn-Short Hills. Guests will have the opportunity to network with Chamber
members and local officials.
 
Co-Chairs Anthony Rainone, Esq. of Brach Eichler, L.L.C and Dennis Klein of Rand,Feuer & Klein, L.L.C are encouraging area Chamber members and residents to join in these important and timely discussions that affect both business and residential communities.
