WEST ORANGE, NJ - Two perpetrators are on the loose after an armed robbery on Wellington Avenue that happened on Sunday night.

At approximately 9 p.m., a male and female parking their vehicle on Wellington Avenue near Hillside Avenue were approached by two armed black males exiting a black Jeep. The victims said they were held up with a shotgun. Demanding money, the men took a Louis Vuitton small purse containing victims' I.D. and cash. No injuries were reported.

Following the robbery, West Orange Poice canvassed the neighborhood and questioned neighbors. The perpetrators have not been caught, but are also suspects in an attempted robbery in South Orange earlier in the evening.

The robbers were described as one black male with a scarf covering half his face; wearing a dark hood and dark jacket; between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-8 inches tall; and the other, a black male with short, braided hair wearing a knit type hat.
