MILLBURN, NJ — The Livingston baseball team scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to rally for a 4-2 victory over Millburn on Tuesday.

Robert Sayle had an RBI double and Chris Battista singled in a run for Livingston (2-0), which trailed, 2-1, after six innings. David Cotugno went 3-for-3 with two runs scored for the Lancers.

Nick Murray started and pitched 5 2/3 innings for Livingston. He allowed two runs on five hits while walking two. Brandon Kenney picked up the victory in relief, allowing one hit and striking out two in 1 1/3 innings.

Millburn starting pitcher Steven Echavarria allowed four hits and one run in five innings. He struck out four and walked two. Robert Schneider was 2-for-4 and Jake Zirlin had an RBI single for the Millers (1-1).
