MILLBURN, NJ – Swap the Biz has taken business networking to a new level, primarily focused on building social relationships combined with attractive events.  Going beyond the precepts of traditional networking, the NYC based company recently sponsored a speed-networking event at the Moonshine Supper Club in Millburn. 

The invite only event introduced its members and newcomers to their unique brand of “hyper-social” networking.

The event began with a facilitated networking session to welcome attendees, then the speed networking session, akin to speed dating but with a business focus, began.  Though business cards can be exchanged, the rule is that no one can talk business.  The aim is to focus on building a social relationship first.

Founder and CEO Scott Eisenberg believes in the adage that “you do business with people you like”.  His approach is based on this simple concept and built a business to provide like-minded professionals opportunities to engage with one another and to foster lasting relationships, in and out of the boardroom.

“Friends want to spend time with each other and are inclined to help each other”, said Eisenberg. “The best thing is that with the foundation of the relationship based in a social connection and ultimately a friendship, the bond is stronger and longer lasting.”
