Big "L" Club Honors Class of 2017 Hall of Fame Inductees

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston Athletics alumni Peter Cullen (1997), Paul Devlin (1999), Michael Graham (1998), Samantha Rode (2004), Cynthia Schiafo (1982), David Schonbraun (1995) and Greg Wickner (1980); coaches Ed Purdy and Linda Purtell; and long-time Livingston Athletics contributor Ronald Valentine were officially inducted into the Big “L” Club Athletic Hall of Fame over the weekend.

Members of the Big “L” Club and fellow Hall of Famers attended a special ceremony celebrating their induction during half time of Friday’s home football game against Bloomfield.

The Big “L” Club then honored the Hall of Fame Class of 2017 inductees at a celebratory Hall of Fame Awards Banquet and Induction Ceremony on Sunday morning at Hanover Manor in East Hanover.

Essex County Man Found Dead After Shooting Near Feaster Park

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - An Essex County man died Friday night after a shooting in New Brunswick, authorities announced on Saturday.

Tawan Moses, 25, of East Orange, was found dead by authorities at 8:30 p.m. on Throop Avenue near Fester Park, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey.
