LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Caldwell boys basketball team put together its best scoring output of the season Saturday in a 75-62 victory over Livingston.
Cristian Talavera scored 20points for the Chiefs (8-5), who built a 36-21 lead by halftime.
Ian Mattison finished with 16 points and Ray Zamloot scored 11 points for Caldwell, which beat the Lancers for the second time this season. The previous game, though, was much different, with the Chiefs prevailing, 42-40, in a low-scoring affair.
Nick Guido had 19 points and Kyle Loventhal scored 15 for Livingston (4-8).
