LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston boys basketball team got the better of neighboring rival Millburn with a 44-40 victory over the Millers on Saturday.
Nick Guido scored 16 points to pace the Lancers (4-6), who had a one-point lead before outscoring Millburn, 17-14, in the fourth quarter.
Luke Cohen and Sam Smith each scored seven points for Livingston, which got out to an 11-6 lead in the first quarter. Each of the Lancers' last three victories have been by five points or fewer.
On the season, Cohen leads Livingston with an average of 10.7 points per game. Guido is a close second in scoring with 10.2 ppg., and he leads Livingston in 3-pointers with 18.
