On Tuesday, Livingston voters will go to the polls in the election” for Town Council. We have the 7 candidates for 3 Town Council seats but it’s non-partisan right?
Anyway, the important mathematical issue is this: each voter is entitled to cast 3 votes for town council but it is wise to exercise your right and one should cast only one vote, which is known as a bullet vote! (instead of — casting two or three votes)
In any race and where no real candidate is a run-away - winner . If you want your vote to count and to put your candidate ahead of any other candidate. Vote for one candidate-Bullet Vote.
Because ‘approving’ a second choice or third choice may help defeat the voter’s first choice, it's approval voting."
And that is why I will cast my bullet vote for Deborah Shapiro.
