LIVINGSTON, NJ -- CardioYoga, located at 521 South Livingston Ave., will host a two-hour master workshop this Friday, June 21 at 7 p.m.

Led by Dana Cilento Murphy, a renowned life coach, yoga and meditation instructor and owner of accessiblespirituality.com , the workshop will offer tools to help us through life transitions, including: Explore the different types of change and transitions and how they affect us differently.

Life is a journey, with ups and downs, ins and outs, periods of steadiness and times of transition. Kids going to college, empty-nesting, divorce, downsizing, retiring, leaving a career, changing careers or restarting one: these are all examples of the transitions many of us face in today’s non-linear life.

Change is an inevitable part of our journey, but how we see it determines how it affects us; the better we learn to navigate change, the easier it will be to manage.

Learn to view change and transition as a positive instead of a punishment. Examine the importance of resilience and flexibility while going through life transitions in order to come through them energized and ready for the next stage.

Through guided exercises, uncover and discover who you are and how you react when your world is changing, and create a “tool box” for moving through your transition from a place of center. Understand the meaning of self-care and what you need to feel whole and the pieces of your world are moving and shifting. Learn practices to support you through your shift.

Discuss the importance of faith and how a strong belief system can be our beacon of light and source of guidance throughout. See that sometimes we feel we are the only one going through things and this can feel isolating, the truth is there are always others going through the same; and we gather in sessions like this, we can connect with others that feel the same, and we realize we are not alone.

This two-hour master workshop is $40 in advance, $45 at the door.
