LIVINGSTON, NJ — Carmen S. Michael has been appointed the new Supervisor for World Languages/ESL for Livingston Public Schools.
She is replacing Lizbeth Sanchez who is retiring at the end of this school year, providing consistency through the administrative transition.
Michael has taught in the district for the past 12 years and is uniquely qualified to serve as the department supervisor. Her experience working with administrators, parents and students puts her in the position to smoothly transition her role from teacher to supervisor, according to LPS. She has served as the lead teacher for World Languages for the past four years and said she is looking forward to her new role as supervisor.
