LIVINGSTON, NJ - On Tuesday, Livingston High School held its annual “Livingston High School and Millburn High School College and Career Fair.” Nearly 160 colleges and universities from across the country participated including Montclair State University, Tulane University, University of Maryland, University of Southern California, the University of Virginia, and Yale University. In addition, the ACTION! Club of Livingston High School held a bake sale at the event to raise funds for the club’s upcoming “Extravaganza” event.
Along with the plethora of colleges and universities in attendance, hundreds of students and their families, from both Livingston High School (LHS) and Millburn High School (MHS), took advantage of the fair. Many collected brochures and talked to the college reps in attendance.
Rachel Katz, a junior at LHS, said, “I look forward to the College Fair every year. There are so many amazing schools here and it really helps me with the college search process.”
Jackie Segel, a MHS junior, said she loved the event, as well. “The College Fair lets me find so many schools that I would never be able to explore otherwise because of distance,” she said. “It is a really great tool for finding the perfect college.”
