LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC) is hosting a “dine and donate” event at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza on Thursday, Feb. 23 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and seond one at Calabria Restaurant & Pizzeria on Thursday, March 16 at the same time, both benefiting FlyRed for Heart Disease.
FlyRed for Heart Disease is a Flywheel event benefiting the heart centers at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. In addition to the event, to be held Sunday, Feb. 26 at Flywheel in Millburn, monetary donations have funded medical equipment, patient recliners, renovations to the waiting room and more.
In order to have 30 percent of their check donated to the cause, diners should tell their server/hostess that they are dining to support FlyRed.
Sponsored by RWJBarnabas Health, these LACC events are also unique networking opportunities for local businesses. Thursday's event has been rescheduled from the original date of Feb. 9 due to snow.
