Donald Ebert of Livingston Barricaded in Wynnewood Road Home

February 1, 2013 at 7:00 PM

LIVINGSTON, NJ - TheAlternativePress.com reported earlier today that Madison Public Schools were on lockdown due to an unrelated incident in Morristown.  The lockdown was later lifted.  It now appears that the lockdown was the result of an incident near Morristown Medical Center involving 54-year-old Donald Ebert of Livingston, who is now barricaded inside his home on Wynnewood Avenue in Livingston.  He is armed and considered dangerous.

Ebert allegedly pistol-whipped a woman near the Medical Center.  After fleeing the Center, he returned to his home at 31 Wynnewood Road and is refusing to leave the residence.

The Livingston Police Department is on the scene as are Essex County units.

The Alternative Press will continue to provide information as it becomes available.
