Supplies of blood are critically low at this time of year. The Blood Center of New Jersey website lists the general rules which apply to giving blood:

* Donors must be in good health
* Donors must be 16 years of age or older and there are no upper age limits
* Donors should eat meals at the regular times

People can donate blood every 56 days.  The Shillelagh Club allows the Blood Center to set up a donation area on the second floor and is expected to send their Mobile Unit Van so people won't be kept waiting. Last year's drive collected 120 pints of blood for the Blood Center of NJ.

For more information or to select a donation time - please email: SchottBloodDrive@gmail.com
