Explore Sports, Academics and the Arts at the Summer Enrichment Experience Camp

SUMMIT, NJ — Kids are encouraged to develop a new passion, spark a new interest or simply make new friends at the Summer Enrichment Experience (SEE) Camp, which is hosting an open house at its Summit location on March third from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Oratory Prep School.

The certified teachers/instructors know how to make the summer fun at SEE Camp, which has locations in both Summit and Mountain Lakes. The camp is created for inquisitive students entering grades 1-8.

Daily activities at SEE include a full hour each of the areas kids love to explore, including STEM Science, Art, Theater and Recreation.

"Kids need to explore lots of avenues to find their true passions, so we make science, theater, art and sports all equal parts of the fun," the camp writes on its website. "At SEE Camp, we help kids discover what they love to do."

This year, SEE will also embark on two exciting field trips:

Session 1: The Museum of Natural History

For more than 130 years, the American Museum of Natural History has been one of the world’s preeminent institutions for scientific research and education. The museum has more than 32-million artifacts and specimens in its vast collection and employs more than 200 scientists.

Renowned for its collections and exhibitions, the museum serves as a field guide for the entire planet and presents a paranormal of the world’s cultures. On this trip, children will explore their world, past and present, by engaging themselves in these fine exhibits.

Session 2: The Newark Museum

Participants will enjoy a visit to New Jersey’s first planetarium. The Alice and Leonard Dreyfus Planetarium is an interactive theater for learning about astronomy, space and planetary science.

Audiences can explore the constellations, travel through the Solar System, visit distant galaxies and soar to the edge of the Universe. In addition, campers will take part in a guided tour of the museum that captures such themes like games around the world and Whodunnit?

Dates for 2018:

Session 1: June 25 - July 6

Session 2: July 9 - July 20

Both Sessions: June 25 - July 20
