OAK HILL, WEST VIRGINIA - Boy Scouts and Explorers interested in attending the 2017 National Jamboree need to move quickly to register for this event. Although the Jamboree is more than a year away, Patriots’ Path Council has quickly filled nearly all of the four troops and two crews that it plans to sponsor. Only 50 spots currently remain available.
More than 30,000 scouts from around the nation will attend this 10-day, high-adventure extravaganza at the Summit National Scout Reserve, located on 10,600 acres in West Virginia. National Jamborees are held by the Boy Scouts of American only once every four years.
“We’ve had an amazing response so far, and demand may exceed supply, in terms of the number of scouts and explorers we are able to bring to the Jamboree next summer," said Jamboree Chairman Marty Foy. "To avoid disappointment, scouts and their parents need to act right now to register.”
Online registration for the Jamboree is available here: https://ppcbsa.org/programs/adventure/national-jamboree/. For additional information, contact Marty Foy at firstname.lastname@example.org
