LIVINGSTON, NJ — My Way Pizzeria & Catering, a new pizzeria located at 593 S. Livingston Ave. that serves pizza, Italian hot dogs and sausages, Parm sandwiches and many other favorites, hosted Mayor Al Anthony, members of the Livingston Township Council, members of the Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce, family, friends and staff at the restaurant on Aug. 5 for a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

Co-Owners Randy Oliva and Jerry Johnson provided free pizza, pasta, sandwiches and refreshments to those who came out to join them in celebration of the recently opened pizzeria. The owners thanked everyone who has supported My Way Pizza during its first month and for helping to spread the word.

Johnson, who is the previous owner of former pizzeria Ricky Dee’s, a popular Livingston eatery in the 90s, is enthusiastic about bringing his expertise back to the Township of Livingston.

“So far it’s been really good—we’re meeting a lot of new people and also a lot of old customers,” said Oliva. “It’s nice to meet to see the older crowd who used to come to Ricky Dee’s in high school and now they’re bringing their kids in. It’s a pretty cool experience.”

Can Frelinghuysen At Least Stand with Working Families On His Way Out?

February 25, 2018

On January 29, Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen announced his decision to retire.  Presumably he is now free to vote his conscience rather than blindly go along with his party’s agenda against the interests of the working class in America.

On February 14, he voted to support a bill that allows usurious credit card rates to apply when loans are sold from one institution to another.

Let the Games Begin

I am truly awed by the Olympics.  Watching these superb young athletes on TV inspires me to renew my membership to the gym and pursue my lifelong dream of taking home the gold.

The problem is that in my deluded head, I can see actually see myself standing atop the podium.  I am wrapped in a puffy designer ski coat with a huge piece of bling slung around my neck ...
