In honor of National Eating Disorder Awareness, February 24 – March 2, local psychotherapist, Danna Markson, LCSW, of Mindsoother Therapy Center, is offering complimentary consultations and evaluations in her Livingston office.
Danna has over 18 years of clinical experience helping clients identify, understand and manage their thoughts, feelings and behaviors using a variety of effective therapies such as DBT, CBT and holistic complements such as meditation, relaxation, and guided imagery. Mindsoother offers individual, family and group counseling in a safe, nurturing, and motivating environment.
Danna is received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University and earned a post-graduate certificate in Family Studies from the New Jersey Center for Family Studies. She is Co-Executive Producer of the eating disorder documentary, Someday Melissa; the story of an eating disorder, loss and hope and serves on the Board of Directors of the non-profit, Someday Melissa, Inc.
