LIVINGSTON, NJ — With 11 points, five rebounds and five steals in an away game against Weequahic High School, Livingston’s Kayla Parsons led the Lancers’ girls basketball team to its first victory of the season on Tuesday.

The 44-40 victory, in which Desi Brower and Kaitlyn Kelly also added 11 points and four rebounds apiece, leaving the Lancers with a 1-11 overall record on the season.

In addition, AJ Dansky had six points and Ashley Reuter added five points, four steals and three assists to secure the victory for Livingston.

The girls went into the game coming from a 54-22 defeat on Saturday against Millburn. The girls will aim for a second victory on Saturday against Montclair Kimberley Academy on the Lancers’ home court.
