LIVINGSTON, NJ -- After losing by one point in its previous game, the Livingston girls basketball team came back to win by a point, 39-38, over Mount St. Dominic Tuesday night.

Ava Intile and Aliza Gelman each scored 14 points for the Lancers (15-5), who took a seven-point lead after one quarter but had to hang on and weather a Mount St. Dominic rally.

Sarah Cullen finished with seven points for Livingston, which had lost its previous game, 50-49, to West Essex in the county tournament. Juliet Howell scored 15 points and Mia Barone netted 13 for Mount St. Dominic (8-11).
