CALDWELL, NJ -- Senior Emily Gaffney scored the 100th goal of her career and Livingston went on to a 13-8 girls lacrosse victory over Mount St. Dominic in the wind Monday afternoon.
Gaffney totaled four goals and four assists in the game, and Avery Conklin also scored four goals for the Lancers (6-3), who had a 9-3 lead at halftime. Hayley Locke tossed in three goals and had an assist in the victory.
Carsyn Balter scored two goals and Leah Silvestri contributed one goal and two assists for Livingston. Winning goalie Skyler Alpert made 11 saves, and Conklin had 12 draw controls and 12 ground balls.
"Center Kelly O'Connor dominated in the center of the field on the draw controls, connecting with Avery Conklin 12 times," said Livingston coach Jodi Mensch. "Defensively Kelsey Homberg and Hayley Locke came up huge for the Lancers with three interceptions or caused turnovers."
