Livingston at 200 festivities features a Bicentennial Run on October 20 as part of the Homecoming Celebration. As part of the event, Livingston Public Schools physical education teachers and the YMCA will run special events for children with special needs.
The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk around the LHS track begins at 11 a.m. A 5K run starts at 9:30 a.m. in front of LHS. The 5-K Run is certified by the US Track and Field of NJ. There will also be booths providing information about health/ wellness and health and wellness products as well as a DJ and prizes.

The fee for the special needs track & field events is $18 . Registration opens at 8 a.m. at Livingston High School. The special needs track & field events will begin at 9:30 a.m.
The event is co-hosted by the Big L Club, Livingston Education Foundation, West Essex YMCA in partnership with LACD and the Livingston Bicentennial Historical Committee. Net proceeds will benefit Livingston youth.
