LIVINGSTON, NJ - Brush up your cha cha--it’s prom time for Livingston’s senior citizens. The annual Intergenerational Prom is planned for Wednesday, April 15 from 5:30 p.m. at Livingston High School. It’s free to anyone 62 or older and is sponsored by the Livingston Board of Education, Livingston Town Council and LHS Key Club.

This year’s theme is “Blue Skies.” High school students will create a photo booth and other decorations, and serve as dance partners. The mayor, town council and school board members will serve food at the buffet. The festivities will include performances by the LHS Jazz Band, door prizes, and lots of dancing.

This very senior senior prom was first presented 27 years ago when organizers hosted a dinner dance to create a learning experience to allow the students at Livingston High School and seniors in the community to socialize, have fun, and get to know one another.
