JCC MetroWest and Saint Barnabas Medical Center Announce Partnershi​p to Offer Additional Services to the Community

JCC MetroWest and Saint Barnabas Medical Center are pleased to announce a new partnership that will bring enhanced services to the community and members of the JCC at the Leon & Toby Cooperman JCC, Ross Family Campus in West Orange.  “Saint Barnabas Medical Center is the premier healthcare facility in this region. Our partnership will launch a variety of health and wellness related offerings including the Wellness Institute and the Children’s Wellness Institute at the JCC,” said Alan Feldman, Chief Executive Officer, JCC MetroWest.
Saint Barnabas Medical Center, in partnership with the community, strives to improve health and quality of life for all people by providing excellent, cost effective healthcare and the highest level of patient satisfaction. “We are honored to be the exclusive healthcare provider at the JCC.  This partnership will allow us to extend health, rehabilitation and wellness services to the JCC community,” states John F. Bonamo, MD, MS, Executive Director, Saint Barnabas Medical Center. 
The Wellness Institute will include rehabilitation and physical therapy, education, health navigation and a variety of other health-related services to target to meet the needs of the JCC membership.  The Children’s Wellness Institute will educate parents on ways to keep their children healthy. Saint Barnabas Medical Center is one of the largest providers of Pediatric Care in New Jersey. With more than 250 Pediatricians and Pediatric Specialists on staff, the hospital has access to a myriad of expertise. In an effort to assist parents, the hospital will provide educational programs to benefit parents of children of all age groups.
The partnership officially launches on May 1, 2011.  There will be an Open House & Health Fair to celebrate on June 12, 2011 in Steiner Court at the Leon & Toby Cooperman JCC, 760 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, NJ.
