Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy Hosts Family Fun Day and Open House

JKHA Family Fun Day and Open House to be Held Credits: JKHA

LIVINGSTON, NJ - The Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy, Livingston’s only Modern Orthodox Jewish day school accredited by the NJAIS, will be hosting an Open House and Family Fun Day for prospective and current JKHA families on Sun., Dec. 14. The event will offer an action-packed Chanukah-themed morning, along with opportunities to explore the Judaic and general studies education provided at the school. 

All new families who attend the event will be entered to win a $5,000 dollar credit toward tuition. Current families that attend the event will be eligible to win a $1,000 credit toward tuition. Additional prize opportunities will be available to all attendees.

In addition to the prizes, the morning will kick off with registration at 10:00 a.m., accompanied by breakfast. The fun will continue with entertainment for the whole family including interactive activities, Chanukah-themed crafts, aleph-bet yoga, “Judah and the Maccabees training,” and much more. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art campus, learn about the Judaic and general studies curriculum and meet the dedicated faculty. Lunch will also be served.

NJ Governor Signs Executive Order to Fly Flags at Half-Staff to Recognize Parkland Florida Victims

New Jersey Governor Phillip D. Murphy signed Executive Order No.1 on Monday ordering the flag of the United States of America and the Flag of the State of New Jersey to be flown at half-staff to recognize and mourn the passing of the victims in Parkland, FL.

The order is for all state offices, agencies and municipalities, including schools for Tuesday, Feb. 20.
